FEx220 – Accessory mount in the assembly with extender (L — 205 mm)

Product description:

• In this model, the accessory mount is supplemented with the Ex220 extender and the tilt adapter. This construction helps to fix accessories at a distance of 220 mm from the installation place and to adjust their position.
• The design has two 27.7° spline tilt joints, which allow maximum flexibility in adjusting the position of the target accessory.
• The male adapter of FEx220 can be fixed into any pre-installed BORIKA FASTen® accessory mount and can be fully rotated in 30° increments.
• The mount, which is included in the assembly, is compatible with any BORIKA FASTen® accessories. Using BORIKA FASTen® transition adapters you can also install in it some accessories from  SCOTTY®, RAM® , RAILBLAZA® , YakAttack® or carp fishing tackles.
• The mount and the adapter are fastened together in the tilt joint. By loosening the knob nut, you can select any tilt angle in 27.7° increments, and fixate the chosen position by tightening it.
• The mount has the ROLL & LOCK fixing system: to install accessories, switch the locking mechanism into the open position (by turning the mount counterclockwise), insert an adapter all the way into the splines, and turn the mount clockwise.

Materials: fiberglass-reinforced polyamide, anodized aluminium, A2 (AISI 304) stainless steel.

Tips on using & installation:

• The tilt joints of the assembly can be supplemented with various extenders with 27.7° side splines. If there is a need for more precise tilt adjustments, you can add the Dp230 adapter washers with smaller splines to the assembly. It will reduce the tilt increments to 7.5°.
• The extender from the assembly can be used separately for making other structures.
• Pay attention that extended mounts are not recommended to use with accessories provided increased and dynamic loads.
• To prolong the service life of the product, after using it in sea water, rinse it with plenty of fresh water.

Technical Details:

This mount is designed for fixing accessories at the distance of 220 mm from an installation place. The assembly includes a mount, an extender (L — 205 mm) and an adapter with 27.7° side splines. On the one side the extender is fastened together with the mount for accessories and on the other — with the adapter. Both joints have 27.7° splines and are equipped with M6*50 DIN 931 bolts (one on each side) and M6 DIN 934 nuts. The tilt position of each of the joints is fixed by tightening the hex knob nut. The design comprises both male (for installation on the vessel) and female (for fixing of accessories) adapters. The main parts are made of fiberglass-reinforced polyamide. The tube of extender — of powder coated anodized aluminum. Fasteners — of A2 (AISI 304) stainless steel (except for two M6 DIN 934 brass nuts).
