FTs450 – Mounting kit for installation of fish finder and transducer on the T-Track of kayak (Ft450 + Fs218)

Product description:

• This set offers a complete solution for mounting a fish finder and a transducer on the side of an inflatable boat. The design comprises a plate for a small fish finder monitor (up to 7″) and an arm mount, suitable for most popular transducers of Lowrance, Raymarine, Garmin, Humminbird and other brands.
• The kit includes an Fs218 T-track adapter, which allows the fish finder set being installed on the side of the inflatable boat equipped with Mb218 or Mp219 mounting pads. The kit is also reliable for installation on rigid boats with wide sides, equipped with mounting pads in the form of T-track. 
• The user can adjust the system to the width of the boat side, moving the clamp, which connects the plate and the arm. 
• The wall of the fish finder plate is 3 mm thick, it is made of fiberglass-reinforced polyamide, which ensures its reliability. On the back side of the plate, there are marked thickened mounting points that match the standard mounting holes on the popular models of equipment. 
• The assembly is designed in a way that allows the plate along with the installed equipment to be fully rotated around the axis of the adapter, which comes in hand during fishing, when you need to quickly change the position of the screen to avoid sun glare. 
• The transducer holder has a two-stage telescopic design, the maximum distance between the transducer and the place of its installation on the boat is about 50 cm and the minimum distance is about 30 cm. 
• The joint between the tubes is fitted with a locking system that automatically activates when the holder is unfolded. To fold it down — just press the button on the tube joint. 
• The arm mount is equipped with the covering fastening system that is suitable for most popular transducers. Two swivel brackets and the set of radius washers allow the coverage to be adjusted, and additional rigid “fins” of this system help to protect the transducer from mechanical damage.
• The Fs218 mount included in the assembly is compatible with all BORIKA FASTen® accessories and with conversion adapters you can fix in it some accessories and devices from other brands ( SCOTTY®, RAM®, RAILBLAZA®, YakAttack®, carp fishing tackles, etc.).
• Fixing of the accessory is carried out on the ROLL & LOCK principle: the mount body turns counterclockwise, which moves the locking mechanism to the open position, then the adapter is pushed into the mount all the way in and the mount turns clockwise, clamping teeth of the accessory adapter.
• The mount comes with a polyester gasket to ensure a tight fit in the T-Tracks, which are larger than the guide lugs on the bottom of the mount. The gasket ensures that the mount cannot rotate in the T-Track, it comes with the assembly and is used if needed, at the user’s discretion. 
• A D-ring is provided on the body of the mount, which allows you to fix the retriever’s carabiner of an accessory or equipment fixed in the mount, thereby protecting it from loss.

Tips on using & installation: 

• The Fs218 T-track adapter can be installed quickly and without additional tools. Just insert the T-bolt of the mount into the T-Track of the pad and tighten the knob nut.
• The base of the fish finder monitor can be fastened to the plate using self-tapping screws in accordance with the step-by-step installation guide. You can use marks to drill holes or make your own holes which will suit your equipment.
• The transducer’s tubes fold up compactly during transportation.

• To prolong the service life of the product, after using it in sea water, rinse it with plenty of fresh water.
